These gala catalogs will be adored by you and your auction committee.
About once a year, I find myself with an inventory of extra auction catalogs. I release them to make space in my office.
I call each collection a “Catalog Carnival.”
Each package I send is like mini carnival of auction ideas you can use in your event.
"I really enjoyed this package. I was interested in what others were doing, as here in Nebraska you can go to any charity auction and see the same thing.
This was like a Pinterest of auction ideas, in old school-style (flipping pages)! It’s neat to see the different types of booklets and their goals for their auction. We’ll be using some of these ideas."

This is a low-cost way to experience well-organized galas by “peeking through the window” of top-producing fundraising auctions — without buying the $250 event ticket and spending travel dollars to fly to the city.
(Forget wearing an evening gown. You’ll “attend” these events in your yoga pants.)
Whether you live in Boise or Baton Rouge, explore auction items, timelines, layouts, raffles, and activities from some of the quality auction catalogs and programs I’ve saved from ballroom tables and floors across the country.
"I loooooooved these catalogs!
My husband was laughing at me. He saw how excited I got when I received my package. He said that I looked like I was opening up a surprise birthday present. There was so much great information and I’ve been leafing through them more than once since I got them.
They arrived promptly, your notes were perfect (and were a very nice bonus) and I got a lot of ideas that I’m sharing with my team.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Keep sharing your auction love. It sets you above all others."

It’s a win-win:
1. You get 10 to 15 benefit auction catalogs filled with juicy ideas from great galas.
2. I regain some shelf space.
The modest fee includes postage. Each package will be delivered via priority mail into your hot hands.
BUT WHEN THEY’RE GONE, THEY’RE GONE.
Gala Chairs use catalogs like these to research fresh ideas.
You’ll see...
unusual auction item ideas
well-written item descriptions
how to handle item values
new themes and design ideas
catalog layouts
fresh ideas for raffles and prizes
fundraising auction rules and structure
creative advertising revenue
sponsor recognition
smart revenue programs
(Sorry, I can’t ship to Virginia residents.)
To be upfront, these are used gala catalogs saved from the garbage heap. They might be a bit dinged up. You might notice a splash of wine or a torn corner.
But even with these dents and scratches, the catalogs are 100% useful.
IMPORTANT TIPS ON ORDERING
1. Place your order promptly. I don’t “produce” these materials, so this product is always a limited time sale.
When I’m sold out, I’m sold out. These are released only when I have excess inventory beyond what is needed for my own purposes.
2. If you want more than one collection of catalogs, order them at the same time to avoid receiving duplicates.
If you place an order and — after you receive your collection — decide you want another set, there is a chance you will receive some of the same catalogs you did from the first order. I don’t keep track of what you receive.
One woman and her friend each ordered a set, thinking they’d have twice the selection. Instead they both received some of the same catalogs. So if you want 20+ catalogs, order two sets now. If you want 30+ catalogs, order 3 sets now.
3. Don’t be coy. Tell me who you’re helping.
When I know your nonprofit, it helps YOU get a better collection because I customize the order. You’ll always get a selection, but customization is nice, isn’t it?
If I know you’re volunteering at a school, I’ll include more school auction catalogs.
If you’re a disease-based cause, I work to include disease-based gala catalogs.
If you’re running a paddle-raise only event, I cull your collection to include that.
Running a luncheon auction? I’ll find an event or three that were luncheons.
Be upfront. There is no advantage to you when you attempt to be anonymous with your cause.
